 The
Wireless Enterprise Access Server 100 (EAS 100) delivers a secure,
scalable, and standards compliant, comprehensive set of services that
dramatically
simplifies the security and integration challenges unique to the implementation
of a Wireless infrastructure.
The EAS 100
provides centralized management for the Wireless network, administers
the security, the Wireless devices
and interfaces between the Wireless and wired network.
In addition,
the EAS 100 provides a range of integrated
functions that usually require separate installation
and management, such as RADIUS server, Certificate Authority, Firewalls and VPN server.
As a full family member of the growing Madge EAS
family of products the EAS 100 offers identical functionality to the
larger EAS appliance or software solutions and thus makes implementations
across Enterprises easy and consistent.

The Access Server implements
the Madge Security Model.
This model defines an architecture for:

The Madge Security Model uses the industry standards,
such as 802.1x, SNMP, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, EAP-PEAP, WPA, WPA2, dynamic WEP and RADIUS, for open, multi-vendor

Management
The EAS 100, using industry
standards SNMP MIBs, provides a single point of management for Multi-vendor,
standards-compliant Wireless LAN equipment and security services.
The product will manage up to 5 access points and up to 100 users.
In addition Madge WLAN probes can be administered.

Madge Wireless products utilize industry
standards to ensure interoperability. The multi-technology benefits
of the Wireless
Enterprise Access Server
support covers IEEE802.11a,b and g devices together with its Madge
