Madge Announced As Finalist In National Industry Awards

Wireless Security Product of the Year

London - 13 June 2005 - Madge, a global supplier of enterprise Wireless Local Area Networking (WLAN) management and security technology, has been short listed as a finalist at the prestigious Techworld.com Network Awards 2005.

The Awards recognise the best in every field of the Network industry and aim to reward leading individuals, teams and companies for innovative and effective use of networking and telecommunications technology.

Madge has been selected from amongst world class vendors as a finalist in the ‘Wireless Security Product of the Year’ category. Speaking of the news, Madge CEO Martin Malina said: “The inclusion of Madge as a finalist in the Awards is clear recognition of our presence within the global networking industry and an acknowledgement of the quality of our wireless security and management products.”

Other finalists within the category are: AirMagnet (AirMagnet v4.0); Aruba Networks (Mobility Controllers); Bluesocket (Bluesecure Intrusion Prevention System) and Juniper Networks (NetScreen-5GT Wireless).

The Awards will be judged by panels from both the independent sector and experts from the within networking industry and will be presented on Wednesday, 22 June at a gala dinner at the Brewery in the City of London.
